FAQ

What is High-intensity Pilates? At NONO Limits, we combine the meticulous movements done on a traditional Pilates reformer with heavier spring tension, functional strength training (exercises that mimic everyday activities like pushing, pulling and squatting), and the continuous motion of interval training to work all the major muscle groups to exhaustion in only 45 minutes. High-intensity Pilates is great as the only workout you do, or complementing cardio and other strength routines.

When will I see results? We recommend 2-3 classes per week for the fastest results. Clients have seen visible muscle tone improvement in fewer than 10 classes.

How do reservations work? A reservation is required to attend class, which can be booked at www.nonolimits.com/schedule. In general, reservations must be made at least 15 minutes before the class start time, but we recommend booking at least an hour in advance if at all possible. As a new studio, some of our classes are empty, and in that case reservations may cut off at the hour mark so that we have enough notice to prepare for the class. Empty 6:30am classes may cut off the night before. This is temporary as we build up our clientele and staff.

Is NONO LIMITS suitable for beginners? Yes, our workout can be modified to suit individuals of all fitness levels, including beginners. Our instructors will guide your positioning and adjustments to suit your needs and abilities. With that said, it is a continuous motion workout, so some familiarity with exercise terminology and positions like plank, lunge, etc., is helpful to keep up with your first class. Getting into position quickly leads to the most challenging workout, but it’s perfectly appropriate for a beginner to take more time between moves and limit their challenge level to their readiness for that day.

Is NONO LIMITS safe for individuals with injuries or medical conditions? Reformer exercises can be beneficial for individuals with injuries or medical conditions, but it is important to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program. Our instructors can also modify exercises to suit your specific needs and ensure safety. We will encourage you to keep working out through muscle pain. You should not keep going if you are experiencing joint, spine, bone or heart pain.

How do cancellations work? You can cancel any reservation up to 8 hours before the class start time with no penalty. In order to fill our limited slots, cancellations made after the 8 hour window begins must be charged one class credit, or $30 for monthly memberships.

How does the waitlist work? If a spot opens up in a class you have waitlisted at least two hours before the class begins, you will be informed immediately and be considered registered for the class. The cancellation policy will then apply. Lots of members who join the waitlist get into their class of choice! If you have not yet made it off the waitlist, you can remove yourself at any time. Two hours before the class time, if you haven’t made it off the waitlist, your signup will be canceled with no charge. If you see a spot open up after that, feel free to register.

What safety measures are in place at your studio? We adhere to strict cleanliness protocols and have members wipe down equipment after every use. Please do not attend if you are sick!

Can I bring a guest to work out with me? Guests are welcome and can be reserved via your package. Larger monthly memberships include a limited guest allowance.
